Leif Abrahamsen Wins Montane Arctic Spine
Leif Abrahamsen Makes History, Wins Inaugural Montane Arctic Spine Race!

Leif Abrahamsen finished the Montane Arctic Spine Race. He spent eight and a half days alone in the Arctic. Specifically, that’s 200 hours and 14 minutes! He is the first person ever to win this race. Many people, indeed, thought it was impossible. But Leif proved them wrong. Clearly, he showed that grit and skill can conquer even the toughest race.
This week is huge for Arctic Spine racing. Also, Bjørn Haugam won the Arctic Spine Challenger, the first to reach Kvikkjokk. Furthermore, Nic Baldwin and Caroline Barrett won the Arctic Spine Explorer. They are, in fact, the first male and female winners ever! These athletes show what training, fitness, and experience can do. Particularly, they prove these races are possible.
